Welcome to Mini creations, a place that has as a mission to encourage children to explore their artistic potential, imagination and creativity through arts and crafts, drawing, painting, collage and much more. But you know what? We make it even more special by focusing on the use of natural and seasonal materials. Nature is one of our main inspirations!

And this is the amazing thing about it: Working with natural elements is known to have a soothing effect on kids. It can help reduce stress, anxiety, and restlessness. Furthermore it can serve as a therapeutic outlet that allows them to better express themselves and explore their emotions.

Outdoor moments are always on the menu at Mini Creations. Outdoor activities and contact with nature have an amazing impact on improving children's cognitive, emotional, mental, and physical health! So let's do it!🌿

We also provide an special camp for Brazilian kids that would like to practice and maintain the Portuguese language alive in their lives. Lot of interaction through arts and crafts, stories and outdoor fun, all in Portuguese.

 

The person behind Mini Creations

I am Bruna. I was born in a small town in the south of Brazil called Xanxerê, in the state of Santa Catarina. Currently I live in Leuven, Belgium, where I am married to a Belgian. We have two children (8 and 3 years old) together. My life in Belgium started in 2014 when I moved here in order to continue my studies. I hold a Master's degree in Developmental Biology and started a PhD program in Biomedical Science at KU Leuven University. However, once I became mother I rediscover myself in many ways. I always had a a strong connection and love for both children and arts and crafts; both somehow allowing me to be my purest self and allowing my creativity to flow. In 2021 I opened an online business that sells DIY innovated craft kits and miniatures to the Brazilian public (www.danvacreations.com). Current, I also work as a volunteer Portuguese teacher, for kids age 3- 8 years old, in an organization in Leuven Center - Programa Voar Bélgica VZW. Furthermore, in 2025, I created Mini Creations 💚. Mini creations is a place within my cozy home where I receive children from 2,5 to 5 years old and allow them to be creative, using mostly natural elements and a lot of imagination. I provide holidays camps with the focus on arts and crafts and weekend workshops. Also I organize exclusive camps and workshops for Portuguese speaking kids with the intend to maintain the language and Brazilian culture alive in their lives.
