The Heart Behind Mini Creations ❤

I’m Bruna, and my story begins in a small town in southern Brazil. Life brought me to Leuven, Belgium in 2014, chasing dreams of science and discovery. I earned a Master’s in Developmental Biology and began a PhD in Biomedical Science at KU Leuven.

But then, motherhood changed everything. When my two beautiful children came into my life, I felt a shift—a deep calling to create something more meaningful. I rediscovered parts of myself I had forgotten: my love for children, my passion for arts and crafts, and the joy of seeing creativity bloom.

Mini Creations was born from that love—a dream to give children a space where they feel safe, loved, and free to express themselves. A place where learning is joyful, creativity flows, and nature inspires every moment.

In recent years, I have specialized in teaching and promoting the Portuguese language to children living abroad. As an expat mom of two bilingual boys, I understand how important it is to connect with your child in your mother tongue. I also spent a year working with Programa Voar vzw in Leuven as a teacher, where I helped foster Portuguese language learning among children in our community.

Gordon is our Math, Dutch, and English teacher. Beyond his academic expertise—holding a PhD in physics—his bilingual upbringing has enabled him to speak several languages fluently.

Gordon is especially known for his exceptional rapport with children. His lessons often include creative, engaging activities that incorporate music and playful learning elements, making each session both enjoyable and highly effective. This dynamic approach helps students feel at ease, stay motivated, and build confidence in their abilities

Together, we are a family who believes that gentle learning, the wisdom of nature, and the freedom to express one’s true self turn the lives of children and families into a beautiful journey—one meant to be cherished, explored, and lived with wonder.
